The production site will keep holiday facts deterministic and reviewable. AI may help with explanatory writing, but it will never decide official dates.
Find the authority
Locate the responsible government ministry, gazette, proclamation, or decree.
Verify coverage
Record whether the holiday is national, state-based, religious, or subject to confirmation.
Normalise
Convert the reviewed facts into a consistent country-and-year data schema.
Calculate
Apply weekends and observed-day rules to surface long-break opportunities.

Illustrative structure only—the authoritative source research is a separate upcoming phase.
Federal public-holiday schedule
Responsible authority, publication URL, coverage, publication date, effective year, and archived copy will be stored here.
State and territory holidays
Each state-specific date will retain its jurisdiction and source reference rather than being merged into a single national list.
Lunar and religious confirmations
Dates subject to official sighting or proclamation will be marked as expected until confirmed by the relevant authority.
Replacement and observed-day rules
The applicable legal or government guidance will be cited so the calendar can explain why an additional day is observed.
Ministry of Education school calendar
Official Kumpulan A and B term dates, festival breaks, revision notices, and publication timestamps will be tracked separately from public holidays.

In the finished product, a verification date will show when a human reviewer most recently compared a record with its primary official source. If a government later changes or confirms a date, the data and timestamp will be updated together.
All holiday dates shown in the current concept are representative design content. Do not treat them as an official calendar until the source registry has been researched, reviewed, and approved by the project owner.
